This is the wine that is leading Uruguay's charge as a new, exciting wine making country. Tannat is undoubtedly the hero of Uruguayan wines and this wine shows why that is. Usually Tannat wines are hard and unapproachable until they are 10+ years old, however, in Uruguay these guys have made it fresh and drinkable! This wine is soft, juicy yet unashamed of its brooding dark fruit character. Absolutely delicious.
