Ian - Shop Manager and Wine Buyer

I fell into the wine industry by complete accident 10 years ago because it seemed a "sensible" sort of job. My experience has been a mixture of Hospitality, as a sommelier, and retail. In my time outside wine I love experimenting with cooking and I play as much tennis as the daylight allows.
My wine loves are Pinot Noir and fresh food friendly whites.

My varied finance background found me in the pipe supply industry, banking and education before I have now finally found a job where I can combine my love of wine and my finance skills!
When not in the office you will find me enjoying Pilates, baking, walking through the wonderful Sussex countryside or fighting the weeds on my allotment.
I enjoy relaxing with a fruity full-bodied Malbec on a cool autumn evening, or a fresh zingy Sauvignon Blanc in the Summer sunshine.
