Every wine lover in the world should be allowed to taste this wine at least once to see just how far Argentina has come as a force to be reckoned with. OK, yes, it's more than a little indulgent, in fact it is utterly hedonistic, but why not? The very best fruit from the vintage is selected, Malbec, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, in proportions that Mauricio keeps teasingly to himself. The grapes are co-fermented in old 500 litre barrels and the wine is aged for 16 months in new 225 litre barrels. The nose is mind-blowing, the palate is sublime. A master work.
