  • About

The Grão Vasco wines are named after Portuguese Renaissance painter Vasco Fernandes (1480 – 1543) and his famed portrait of Saint Peter is featured on the label. The wines are made using fruit from trusted growers and are vinified at the state-of-the-art Quinta dos Carvalhais winery under the watchful eye of winemaker Beatriz Cabral de Almeida.

  • Tasting Note

This wine is bright yellow in colour. It has intense aromas of fresh peach, pineapple and citrus on the nose along with floral notes. On the palate, the fruity flavours and a subtle stony minerality are carried by a lively acidity. Very elegant and well balanced.
