The previously undervalued Tejo region, lying to the south of Lisbon, is capable of producing wines of enormous value and character – something that is captured by Ai Galera.

Made from an indigenous Portuguese blend of Castelão, Trincadeira and Miúda it has soft red cherry fruit flavours that combine well with ripe gamey and spicy hints. With mellow tannins it has a nicely rounded feel in the mouth.
